Leading Home Improvement Website Gets an Extension

House Extension Online, a much-loved portal for home extension news and advice, has been given a full refurbishment by Styles Creative. The internet marketing agency has completely re-designed the website and updated its content, bringing the advice-based DIY portal’s large user base up to speed on the latest developments in home building and other related topics in a more visually appealing and accessible format. The new look and extra content means that the website, which has been a mainstay of the online DIY community for over ten years, finally has a profile that matches its importance to homeowners who are thinking of extending their property.

With the content divided into clear sections, the new House Extension Online provides homeowners and aspirational do-it-yourselfers with a comprehensive guide to the process of getting a house extension, covering everything from planning permission and building regulations to materials and costings for those all important finishing touches. The pages of the website’s main content are filled with impartial advice, links to useful organisations and up to minute cost estimates. With main sections on how to get a house extension, windows & doors, conversions for lofts, basements and garages and the array of renewable energy technologies available, the sheer amount of information available is exhaustive and yet easily accessible. Much of the content has been added to the existing material by Styles Creative’s editorial team working closely with experts in the field, ensuring that the information on the website is current, relevant and up to date.

The new House Extension Online is not only a source for official information and expert advice. Recognising that when it comes to house extensions some of the most valuable advice can come from those with firsthand experience, the website features a house extension forum in which members can ask specific questions and find answers from other homeowners as well as professionals. The Forum has been an integral part of House Extension Online for many years, and now boasts thousands of threads on all aspects of house extension applications, planning, designing, building and more. There is also a Case Studies section which includes features written by people with real-life experiences, both good and bad, of the process of getting an extension added to their home.

As well as detailed information, plus the advice and support of others who have had similar experiences, the new House Extension Online will also host a Supplier Directory, featuring a broad range of builders and suppliers of materials and relevant services. Companies can choose whether to have a brief listing or a more detailed profile. One of the consistent messages that House Extension Online endeavours to get across is the importance of getting more than one quote from suppliers, in order to find the most competitive price. Each section contains information on how much a customer can expect to pay for a particular service, whether that be a for a whole house extension or the price of a new boiler, and throughout the website there are links to a relevant quote form. Thanks to Styles Creative’s expertise in lead generation, House Extension Online is now able to provide its users with more than just information, and has become a helping hand as well as an important staging post in the long and sometimes difficult process of getting house extension.

MiniFridge.co.uk Gets a Re-design

The UK’s leading online retailer of small fridges, MiniFridge.co.uk, has been given a complete re-design by the Styles Creative team. Encompassing everything from the appearance of the homepage to the functionality of the online store, the upgrade represents the next step in MiniFridge.co.uk’s development.

Alongside other respected online retailers such as PressureWasher.co.uk and Winterfield Safes, MiniFridge.co.uk is operated by Sixty Stores Ltd. In recent years it has developed its product range beyond simply selling mini fridges to incorporate a range of cooling appliances for home and professional use, as well as kitchen gadgets and smaller cooling products like cool bags and cool boxes. The most recent additions to the product range include a selection of retro fridges from top brands Smeg and Gorenje, and a Marshall fridge – shaped exactly like the iconic amps. MiniFridge.co.uk also runs a successful custom mini fridge service, providing bespoke wrapped fridges to a variety of well-known drinks companies, as well as commercial and media brands.

The decision to re-design the website was taken so that the successful e-retailer could keep in step with its ongoing expansion and continue to meet and exceed its customers’ expectations. Fundamental changes to the content management system have improved the online store’s flexibility and will make it easier for the development team to make any necessary alterations in the future.

The new design offers an improvement on the way information is presented, and shows each product in its best light. Individual product pages make more use of the available space and present detailed information in an unfussy and approachable manner. Thanks to its new appearance, and the clear colour-coding of ‘call to action’ buttons, the website looks set to improve on its already impressive visitor-to-sales conversion rate.

The new website also emphasises the key benefits of shopping with MiniFridge.co.uk, namely the quality of its customer service and the expert advice available, fast delivery times and a secure online payment facility – operated by SagePay. With a clear link to testimonials from confirmed customers via the TrustPilot website, it is obvious to any visitor that MiniFridge.co.uk values its customers and recognises the importance of delivering quality service.

MiniFridge.co.uk’s engagement with its customers and visitors is also evident in its ongoing commitment to social media. Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest pages are all actively promoted by the MiniFridge.co.uk marketing team and so is the website’s blog. Frequent postings and social media updates, as well as regular competitions, keep customers interested in the brand and aware of any special offers and deals.

MiniFridge.co.uk is also continuing its increasingly successful affiliate programs run with Affiliate Future and Trade Tracker. A generous rate of commissions on a high average basket value has seen scores of leading affiliates sign up to the programs – helping the website to boost its sales even further.

By refreshing MiniFridge.co.uk in this way, and renewing its appeal to online shoppers across the UK, Styles Creative has taken the initiative in what is an increasingly competitive marketplace. Thanks to its new look, and more flexible functionality, as well as its ongoing engagement with both customers and affiliates alike, the online retailer looks set to continue its growth in the home appliance sector.

With an emphasis on clarity of message and simple navigation, ActiveMob.co.uk is an approachable website for people of all ages and experience of using ecommerce websites.

Active Mobility is an independent family-owned business, which was founded in 2001. With these initiatives underway, Styles Creative’s work on www.activemob.co.uk looks set to play a big part in Active Mobility’s future development.

Styles Creative Launches Stratford.co.uk

Stratford.co.uk is the latest website to be launched by Styles Creative. The website is a one stop shop for potential visitors to the picturesque Midlands town, and it is full of information about tourist spots, eateries, hotels and events. Designed to reflect the town’s heritage and cultural significance, the website also focuses attention on Stratford-upon-Avon as a vibrant and expanding commercial centre.

The website’s content is divided into easy to follow sections. The Things To Do pages highlight all of the key attractions, such as the world-famous theatrerun by the RSC, and the Shakespeare houses – all tourist attractions of international renown – plus many less well-known destinations which are nevertheless worthy of greater recognition, such as the MAD automata museum and the Butterfly Farm.

There are pages devoted to local restaurants, bars and hotels – giving visitors all of information they will need to make informed choices about where they will spend their time and money when they visit Stratford. An Events section highlights the yearly festivals and public occasions that help to make Stratford such a vibrant town. Plus, for details on how to get to, and how to get around, Stratford, there is a handy Travel Guide section. The website also has shopping pages, in which it is planned that many small local businesses will be listed alongside the nationally recognised high street chains.

Throughout its content, Stratford.co.uk seeks to represent both sides of the town: a beautiful location with a treasured cultural heritage, and a thriving and emerging economy, capable of providing an excellent return on investment.

The overall design of the website is clean and simple, but aesthetically appealing. As befits a Styles Creative project, the layout is consistent and the navigation is very easy to use. The intention is for Stratford.co.uk to be unbiased and unobtrusive in its presentation and to bring the town’s tourist attractions and local companies to the fore.

From its inception, the project has felt close to everyone on the Styles Creative team’s hearts. As a local company, based close to the centre of Stratford upon Avon, we are proud to present our hometown in this way, and sincerely hope that www.Stratford.co.uk will play its part in attracting visitors and investment to the town.
